The Prunus ‘Shogetsu’ (Shogetsu Cherry)
The Prunus Shogetsu is a late flowering Japanese cherry. Its pink buds open in April and stay open throughout spring. This tree fits well into small gardens up until it is mature, when the spreading growth can be pruned in late summer. Its large clusters of pendant white flowers look beautiful against the green foliage.
Prunus Shogetsu has been awarded the Award of Garden Merit given by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), which helps gardeners make informed choices about plants.
