A cottage garden classic.
This cottage garden classic, Paeonia Shirley Temple, freely produces its Creamy scented flowers in June and July. the flowers emerge as tight pink balls and open up into large flowers from seemingly nowhere. These flowers are produced on strong stems making them ideal for cutting and bringing into the house. Like all Peony’s it’s best planted in rich, well-drained soil, and it prefers a sunny sheltered position.
