It forms a dense clump of upright, red-flushed stems, topped with large, green, heart-shaped leaves, which are delicately laced with contrasting veins. Garden care: If growing in pots with reliable moisture, gradually reduce watering into autumn, and lift pots before the first frost, overwintering them in a frost-free place. In spring, water more often, but do not move them back outside until after all risk of frost has passed.
